Ice Cream Social dress sew-along

One Flew Over and Badskirt are hosting an Oliver+S Ice Cream Social dress sew-along this month!  Now, I don’t have any sweet little girls in this house to sew for, but it looks like so much fun that I think I’m going to try making it for a friend’s first birthday.  I just ordered the pattern, and now I need to look through my stash and decide what fabric to use.  Hmm….so much potential.  I’ve never made a dress before, so I thought that a sew-along would be fun to participate in because I’d be able to get help and inspiration.  Go check out the Flickr Pool.  Tons of great dresses and blouses have been posted already!
